Frequently asked questions

Is there a place I can get ready?

Yes! You will have access to a Bridal room for up to 1 hour before your ceremony will take place.

How much time will we have at the venue?

Since we're running multiple elopements in a day, the amount of time for the bridal suite and ceremony space will be a little limited. You can have access to the bridal suite for up to an hour before the ceremony. You'll have the ceremony space resevered for about an additional hour.

What are your Covid-19 Policies?

Each couple will have a set guest list for their private celebration. We ask all guests to practice social distancing as much as possible. Your ceremony seating will comply with local municipal restrictions. We will also have masks available for any guests who wish to wear them as well as sanitizer set up through your event. After each celebration we will reset, clean and sanitize the space. No guests will be allowed in the space until it is fully sanitized. You can read more about our covid policies here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1MpyLMR8CvZ7_T-I_JQyGuFRBoez_ZXZ0r30jeZg4S9k/edit?usp=sharing

Can I change the color scheme of my bouquet/cake/ choose different options?

Yes! We are excited to offer a select variety of options to add as much flare and personal touch to your wedding day as possible. You'll receive all the additional options through a booking request.

Is a reception included in the elopements?

If you're being wed in the Botanic Gardens, you're welcome to take your guests into another space in the garden for a small gathering. We ask you limit your celebration to about 2 additional hours so that we can make way for the other guests.

If you're being wed at the Robinson Gallery, we suggest reserving a small reception at any of the local restaurants on South Main. Remember that social distancing policies may apply, so make sure to call ahead for an appointment.

What's included in the elopement?

We've taken the time to gather the best of the best to make sure you're no longer having to compromise on your wedding plans.

A few of the services include:
- Streaming Ceremony - Gorgeous Ceremony Space - Bouquet + Boutinere - Ceremony Decor - Cake + cake cutting - Champagne Toast - Reception hor d'oeuvres - Photographic Coverage of the Event - Newly-wed portraits - Invites - Seating for Guests - Linens - Transportation service (Botanic Gardens only) - Getting Ready Suite

Do you offer hair and makeup services?

Although we aren't offering hair and makeup as part of our package, we've partnered up with Faizah to provide you an offsite spot to get ready. She'll fix it so that all you have to do when you arrive to the venue all you have to do is slip on your wedding attire. In order to help the day run as smoothly as possible, we will not be allowing hair and makeup artists in the limited space. Please do what you can to arrive on time.

I already rescheduled my wedding! What should I do?

If you've rescheduled your wedding to 2021 but want to get wed with us in 2020, then we suggest not changing a thing about your rescheduled wedding. You still deserve the wedding you've been planning! This is just a beautiful, and perfectly legal, way for you to go ahead and start your marriage. Use our experience as a way to jumpstart your marriage and your rescheduled wedding as the big celebration to happen when it's safe for big groups to gather again. Instead of going down to the courthouse or hosting a backyard elopement, we've just done most of the hard work for you.

How exactly does this work?

Once you reserve your time slot, we'll send you the schedule for your day, and, well, you just need to show up from there. You and your guests will be allowed in the space for about 2 hours where we'll kick off your ceremony that will lead into a sweet champagne toast just for you and your beloved. It's basically a drive through elopement done with southern grace and elegance.

Pretty cool, right?

Do you have vegan/vegetarian options?

What's the difference between your two packages?

You have the option to select a Micro-Wedding at Memphis Botanic Gardens or a small Elopement at the Jack Robinson Gallery. Although both options offer a ceremony that can be streamed to your friends and family, the Micro-Wedding at Botanic will have a small reception to follow the event. This is a upscaled elopement in which you can host up to 30 guests in the gorgeous Botanic Gardens. You're able to choose your hor d'oeuvres to have served to your guests as well. We've basically upgraded your backyard wedding to the most elegant experience you could possible have. Our Elopement package at Jack Robinson Gallery is the better option for those who want to celebrate their reception at a time when it's safer to gather in large groups. For this indoor option, you can have up to 15 guests in attendance. There will be a small snack option for guests and you'll have about 1.5 hours in the space. Both ceremonies will be fully streamed for your guests that want to watch from home.

What's your reschedule/refund policy?

We understand that things might change as the pandemic continues to pan out. We will give you a backup date for if local restrictions change and prevent the initial date. However, as this is being offered as a first come, first serve basis we will not be issuing refunds if you cancel. You will be required to secure your time slot with a full payment. All payments are final. If in the event that local municipal restrictions change and the reschedule date is not possible, THEN you will receive a refund. Please check your contract for additional policies relating to covid-19.
